Privacy Policy

Diamonds is a turn-based territory game published by FintasticApps ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data the game collects, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. It applies to the Diamonds mobile apps and to diamondsthegame.com.

1. Data we collect

Account data

You sign in with Google. We never see or store your Google password. From that sign-in we receive and store:

• Your email address
• A Firebase user ID that identifies your account
• A display name generated for you (for example "BoldOpal24"), which you can change

Gameplay data

• Games played and won, against both bots and other players
• XP earned and your skill rating
• Moves and board state for games you are currently playing

Device and technical data

• IP address, used for security and abuse prevention
• A device identifier used to detect duplicate or automated account creation
• Country and time zone, used to show times correctly
• A push notification token, if you allow notifications

Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand which parts of the game people use, in aggregate. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles, and Diamonds does not display third-party ads.

2. How we use your data

3. Legal bases (EEA and UK users)

• Contract — to provide the game you asked us to provide.
• Legitimate interests — to keep the game fair, secure, and working well.
• Consent — for push notifications, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the game:

We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our players.

5. Other players

Your display name, XP, and game results are visible to players you play against. Your email address is never shown to other players.

6. Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we erase your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep records to comply with the law. Finished game records may be retained in an anonymised form that cannot be linked back to you.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct data that is wrong
• Delete your account and data — see Delete your account
• Restrict or object to how we use your data

8. Children

Diamonds is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on managed infrastructure with access controls. Sensitive fields are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

11. Changes

We will update this page if this policy changes and revise the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the game.
